The Stand Up Paddle invites you to face the unspeakable, everything that words cannot express. It invites you to the pleasure of thwarting the forces of water by playing on the agility of the body and the balance. It is an activity that provides intense pleasure to all those who experience it. Standing on the water and admiring the land gives another view of the environment.

For this mix of happiness and satisfaction, we will take you to the bed of the Charente. Amateur or beginner, the distinction almost does not come between, because it is a sport which is easy to learn. The more experienced will have to refine their skills while the beginners acquire them on adapted boards and paddles ready to shake the upstream of the Base. It is at this point that you will begin the walk, eventually heading towards Charrouxand Verteil.

You will be welcomed at the Forces nautical base or at the Civray campsite for a presentation of equipment such as the Board,the Paddle,the strong>flotation vestand the leash. You will also be briefed on the initiation and demonstration of some navigation techniques. A first 10-minute test will follow which will allow beginners to get a first feel of the practice before being able to orient yourself and go further.

Reserve a place for yourself, it's doing your mind good by giving it a moment of escape, it's also doing your body good, because without even feeling it, 2 hours of SUP, it's the equivalent of two hours at the gym for cardio and muscle relaxation. Get closer to nature, do good to your mind and your body. You will affirm the verisimilitude of the adage: A relaxed mind, in a relaxed body.
