On this excursion we will visit Ortigia from another perspective: we will head north to see some of the most evocative natural landscapes of the island, with the final destination being the Porto Grande, the largest natural inlet in the Mediterranean.
Our navigation will start from the Porto Piccolo of Ortigia and when sailing, we will be able to admire some of the most iconic buildings such as the former prison of Syracuse, the now disused post office building and the Ortea Palace Luxury Hotel.
The excursion is designed to entertain you and give you a unique day: in this regard, we have also thought of swimming stops in the various coves that we will encounter during our tour, to let you refresh, give you the opportunity to snorkel in one of the most beautiful seas in the world and show you places that would not be possible to see from the mainland.
Throughout the excursion, you will have fresh seasonal fruit and drinks of all kinds at your disposal.
The main destinations of the tour will be Maniace Castle, the delta of the Anapo and Ciane rivers and a vast shellfish farm, considered one of the most important in the South.
Upon returning to the port, as usual, we will pass under the only bridge that connects Ortigia to Sicily, the Umbertino Bridge.
