Do you love high mountain? Do you want to learn the basic safety measure rules to survive this inhospitable place? We'll teach you the basic safety measures in snowy terrain, self-arrest, descent, rappel, basic knots, anchoring, ice axe use, ropes etc... with this 2-days course that takes place during January and February.

Our professional instructor will teach you the basic information that you'll need to go through this area and its characteristics. These activities have a duration of 6 hours, give or take, and slopes up from 1000 to 1200 metres.

The schedule of this course is the following:

Day one:

Meeting at Gabardito shelter at 8.30 am with the professional instructor.
Check-in and assignation of the equipment.
Practice with the ice axe and crampons.
Practices of self-arrest, descent, rope use, snow anchoring and rappelling.
Explanation of the characteristics of the area.

Day two:

Meeting at Gabardito shelter at 8.30 am with the professional instructor.
Practice with the theory learned the day before.
We'll choose the route depending on the snow level and weather.

*We recommend you to bring mountain footwear and warm clothes.

***You can rent the equipment from us if you don't have it.
