Deal overview
For this tour we will take a taxi from your accommodation in Puerto de la Cruz to the El Portillo visitor center. Once here we will go to the TF-21 to start the tour.
There will be a small stretch by road first and then we will arrive at Corral del Niño, which is one of the most beautiful paths on the island of Tenerife.
It is a tour for people who have experience in MTB routes. However, we give you the option of choosing a mountain bike or an electric bicycle (for an additional fee), with which the effort will be much less.
When we have completed the trail we will begin the descent through Chanajiga until we reach Icod el Alto. We will continue along a steeper section, which requires more technique, and we will reach the El Lance viewpoint, a perfect place for you to take photographs.
The road will finally take us to Puerto de la Cruz to complete the route.
In total there are 50 kilometers. It took us 5 hours to complete it. It is of a medium-high level, even if we go on an e-bike, so experience in this activity is required.
This mountain bike route also includes a lunch of typical dishes at the magnificent Mirador de San Pedro restaurant.
