You can choose between a tour for beginners, less technical, but no less interesting; or enter a tour for mountain bike experts. Our professional guides will be in charge of customizing the route to your liking. The routes will have a maximum distance of 40 kilometers, and will be mainly downhill or on flat terrain.
Our starting point will be Caniço, where a brief explanation with tips and tricks to put into practice during the route will take place. Although the itinerary of the route varies depending on the experience and ability of each group, we usually continue with an easy 20 kilometer journey along the levadas.
We will stop near Camacha, a small town considered the center of wicker crafts on the island. There we will rest and have lunch in a very typical bar of the place. Afterwards, we will begin the 10 kilometers back, a gentle descent that will no longer require any effort.
Get ready for a route that descends from the mountains to the sea, surrounded by pine forests, eucalyptus and laurel forests. In addition, the laurel forest is declared a UNESCO World Heritage Site, you can't miss it.
