First things first, book them this taster session on the River Leam in Royal Leamington Spa. It’s the perfect location for beginners. We have a shallow, sheltered boating pool as well as flat water sections of the river.
We find that 90 minutes is perfect for children aged 8 to 13 years old. They can get a taste of the sport, play some games and gain confidence without getting too worn out. We’ll start with a safety briefing and our expert guides will coach and supervise the group from start to finish.
All equipment comes included in the price of the session so there’s no need to commit to kayaking straight away. The session is suitable for absolute beginners and children who might have had a go in a kayak once or twice before.
