This course is taught in 5 classes or modules in which you will learn all the techniques about this sport in which you will develop skills and we will test you in each Module in descents, which can be distances of up to 12 km !
In module One, you start with theory and knowledge of the equipment, then we will apply rolling practice in the pool, we will teach you rowing and boat exit techniques, ending with feedback.
In module two, we will start with reading the river, we will apply swimming techniques at different points, you will learn about river crossing in kayak, we will do slalom (this is an exercise that will help you improve your technique and the direction of the boat), we will finish with feedback.
In module three, we will begin with the practice of all the techniques that you have learned in the previous modules, such as slalom, you will flip your kayak in the current and you will learn about the control of your body and mind in extreme situations To develop this skill and maintain a harmonious state without panicking, you will do a short river descent, stopping in small spaces where the instructor tells you.
In module four, you will start with II descent in a distance of 5km where you can take a tour enjoying the landscape, where you can meet animals such as ducks, cormorants, herons, among others, followed by this we will repeat the section ending with feedback.
In module five, we begin with IV descent where we will change lines and paddle for 12 km in a section of the river qualified with a class 3 level, we will end with feedback.
For the course you will need the following material, 3 lycras for legs and arms, a pair of sweatshirts and pants, two small and large towels, swimsuits, personal medications, sunscreen, hand lamp, tennis shoes, repellent, aquashoes, goggles and memory usb to archive your trip photos.
