If you are visiting the port of Veracruz, then do not miss this opportunity to visit Sacrificios Island, located 1.5 kilometers from the coast. It will be a maritime adventure lasting approximately 3 hours where we will row a total of 3 kilometers. Additionally, upon arriving at the island we will have the opportunity to snorkel in the Veracruz reef.
You will be able to see corals and many colorful fish, algae, urchins, worms and lots of marine life. And all the questions you have, we will answer them. You will have two biologists to guide your tour and clear up your doubts.
Sacrificios Island is closed to the public so we will not be able to explore it on foot, however we will surround it admiring the beauty of each of its angles. Its name is due to the hundreds of pre-Hispanic figures that have been found in it, which were surely manufactured by the Toltec culture and their shapes demonstrate that this area was used for celebrations and worship.
As we mentioned before, we can practice 20 to 30 minutes a little snorkelling swim to appreciate the corals under the waters of the Atlantic.

Furthermore, with kayaks you will feel like you are in a direct experience with the sea.
