Our playground for this experience is the picturesque Lough Derg in the heart of Co. Tipperary, with plenty of space to explore and stunning sights in all directions.
This beautiful Lough gives a brilliant taste of the great outdoors, especially when exploring it in one of our kayaks under the expert guidance of an experienced instructor committed to ensuring you have the time of your life.
Kids between 7 and 16 will learn so much about navigating the water, paddling, safety and rescue, and so much more during four hours of kayaking. Our instructors love welcoming beginners and can tailor the camp to any experience level, and for the teenage participants, we can make it more challenging if necessary.
After delivering a safety briefing, we supply all the necessary equipment: a wetsuit, buoyancy aid, helmet, kayak and paddle. We highly recommend that everyone wears an old pair of trainers, a swimsuit, and their own wetsuit if possible and bring a packed lunch, water and a warm change of clothes.
Paddling with their friends will give your children unforgettable memories, whatever the occasion, but it is even more special for them when we host birthday parties, School tours, as well as Canoeing Ireland Kayak courses.
