Arranmore is an island off the coast of County Donegal. Ruggedly beautiful, it’s a fantastic place to visit, explore and fall in love with.
We believe that the best way to see the island is from the water. That‘s why we run kayaking tours along the Arranmore coast from our starting point in the harbour. You’ll paddle under the cliffs, into sea caves and see the animals that make their homes in and around the water. Don’t worry about missing a thing - our expert guides will help you get the most out of this 1.5-hour trip.
This price is for single kayaks. Although you don’t need any previous experience to use one of these, they are reserved for those over 18. Children can join the tour in double kayaks which we list as a separate price.
We will supply the kayaks, paddles and lifejackets. We also have helmets for anyone who wants one. You need a pair of closed-toe shoes and a swimsuit. Consider wearing a hat and sunscreen, this may be Ireland but there’s no shade on the water!

We run kayaking tours along the coast of the beautiful island of Arranmore. It’s the largest inhabited island in County Donegal, one of Ireland’s outposts in the Atlantic Ocean.
The sea shapes our lives and our landscape. It also offers us the opportunity to see Arranmore from a new perspective and meet seals, dolphins and seabirds on the way. Our 1.5-hour kayak tours are the best way to immerse yourself in their world.
Experienced watersport guides lead these tours. They are passionate about kayaking and our island setting so they’ll make sure you paddle correctly and see the sights on the route.
This price is for double kayaks, which can take two adults or an adult and a child over 6 years old. Single kayaks are also on offer - see our separate price. No prior experience is necessary and we’ll provide all the kayaking and safety equipment. Please wear closed-toe shoes and a swimsuit.
