Whether you have experience or not, we invite you to a family kayak tour and the best adventure in Co. Tipperary, with around two hours of paddling, learning and bonding while delving deeper and deeper into the mysterious beauty of Lough Derg's outer reaches.
All of our passionate instructors are Canoeing Ireland certified, so they have the expertise to guide you but also the charisma and love for both the area and the wonderful sport of kayaking to keep everyone engaged and entertained from the start of the safety briefing and skills introduction to the end of this exciting tour.
This family bundle includes two adults and two children from 7 to 16 years old.
We can tailor and adapt the session accordingly to each individual's abilities and the needs of the overall group to ensure everyone has the ultimate kayaking experience.
We also provide all the necessary equipment, including a kayak, of which we have a variety of types and sizes, a paddle, buoyancy aid, a helmet and a wetsuit.
It is highly recommended that you bring a spare change of clothes and old trainers if you don't mind getting wet. Bring your own wetsuit if possible and wear a swimsuit underneath it. Bring a rucksack packed with necessary medicines, water and some snacks.
