Lough Derg is truly a treasure of Tipperary, and we wouldn't want you to explore it without the best equipment, so we only use top-quality kit, which includes a wetsuit, buoyancy aid, helmet and paddle. We also provide a choice of top-class kayaks, such as single & double, sit-on, and sit-in.
This two-hour session includes a safety briefing and a skills introduction.
We suggest you bring a spare change of clothes and an old pair of trainers if you are okay with getting wet. Bring your wetsuit if you have one. You should and a swimsuit to wear underneath it and pack any necessary medicines, water and snacks.
