2-day Level 2 Kayak Course (14yrs+) in Lough Derg

You can go from beginner to skilled in this level 2 kayak skills course in only two days!

This is an action-packed course on Lough Derg in Co. Tipperary, so there are plenty of immaculate views and natural sights to enjoy while you build a strong sense of the kayaking fundamentals under the guidance of a fully qualified instructor.

Of course, no experience is necessary; we fully encourage beginners to take this intensive course as with the expert instructions and insight from our passionate instructors, you will be well on your way to becoming a safe and skilled paddler with at least completing your Canoeing Ireland Level 1 skills training & assessment or even Level 2 if you are successful and we will give you all the confidence and tools you need to pull it off.

Learning is the main priority for this session, but there are other important factors we focus, firstly your safety which is covered by a safety briefing, rescue training and all the safety gear we provide, including helmet, buoyancy aid, wetsuits and, of course, a top of the range kayak with a paddle.

Another important factor is that you have tons of fun and stay entertained, which we do by allowing you to explore the stunning Lough Derg and all its mysteries while remaining engaged in lots of challenges.

Please bring an old pair of runners to wear or, if possible, wetsuit boots or water shoes, your own wetsuit if you prefer, but we have a range of sizes, a swimsuit to wear underneath the wetsuit, a warm change of clothes, any medication, a towel and sunscreen depending on the weather.

The minimum age limit for this activity is 14 years old, and the maximum is 70.
