Located 54 kilometers east of Puerto Escondido, Oaxaca, surrounded by the crystalline waters of the small coast of the Pacific Ocean, is the 14-kilometer long Chacahua Island, which is characterized by its sand. with golden tones and its sanctuary of the Leatherback turtle and the Olive Ridley turtle that come to nest in a safe place.
