Sea Kayaking Tour on Achill Island for 1.5h

With stunning cliffs, mountains and hidden golden beaches, few places in Co. Mayo and all of Ireland compare to Achill Island in terms of sheer natural beauty and plethora of coastal sights, which are even more spectacular to behold from the water.

You can see all these sights and more on this kayaking tour that will take you one of Achill's two blue-way kayaking routes, one beginning on the western side home to one of Ireland's most incredible beaches at Keem Bay, where you will paddle past some of the highest sea cliffs in Europe travelling across the bay to Keem beach possibly spotting basking sharks, dolphins and some sea birds that frequent the area.

The other route we take will bring you North setting off below Slieve Mor from Silver Strand and along the coastline to Golden Strand, encountering magical caves, beautiful arches and hidden beaches with plenty of wildlife to see on your travels.

With the expert guidance and unique local knowledge of our highly qualified and passionate instructors, this 90-minute tour is always different, and each session is specially tailored around your group and will feature secret locations that only some get to see.

We provide all the necessary specialist equipment for this exciting tour, including a kayak that matches your experience, a paddle, a wetsuit and buoyancy aid.

It is important to note that this sea tour is more challenging and adventurous than our lake sessions, so every participant must have basic kayaking skills to take part.
