Our full-day expedition will take you to discover the largest dam in the state of Guanajuato, you can relax while you navigate this wonderful place. In addition, you can see a wide variety of birds such as ducks, pelicans, herons or seagulls. In the middle of the dam there is a small mountain that makes the landscape very peculiar, on this island the birds stop to rest. Around the dam you can see mountains, hills and crop fields.
In this adventure we take you to see theSunken Church of Puruagüita, a 70-year-old church that has been sinking over time, you can still see its paintings religious inside as well as the structure of the church.
Navigation in this dam is in white waters, that is, Class I current, so you can be sure that you will navigate calmly while you enjoy of the spectacular landscapes around you. Once the kayak adventure is over, we will take you to taste a delicious typical food of the region.
We recommend that you bring comfortable clothing, closed shoes that cover your foot, a towel to dry yourself, a complete change of clothes including shoes, and a plastic bag to put your wet clothes. We also recommend using sunscreen.
