Deal overview
Christchurch is one of the most beautiful towns in Dorset. In its centre, the longest parish church in the country, which dates back almost 1,000 years, sits on the confluence of two rivers. You can explore this historic town from the river on our kayaking tour.
We’ll start at our base in Mudeford, on the other side of Christchurch Harbour. After crossing the peaceful waters of the harbour, we’ll progress up the River Stour, spotting wildlife and pleasure boats, to Christchurch Quay. The whole experience, including the return journey, lasts around 2 hours.
One of our experienced instructors will lead the group, helping people with their paddling technique and pointing out sites of interest. They might help you identify some of the rare species of bird that visit these waterways too.
You don’t need to be an expert kayaker to join us but we recommend joining one of our taster sessions first if you're an absolute beginner. The minimum age is 10 years old.
