Beginners and beyond are invited to ninety minutes of fun and education into the world of Kayaking with our taster session on the River Dee in Llangollen, North Wales.

For all the challenge and excitement of white water rapids without the risk of falling into the water, jump into one of our sit-on-top kayaks where you will get wet, but when you fail, you flip over and get right back to the fun. This, along with several other basic techniques, will help build your foundation of skills in Kayaking.

We equip you with a helmet, life jacket, wetsuit and paddle before you head off on this adventure.

Located quite close to our centre at Mile End Mill, our experienced instructors will kick off this taster section on a flat river area. Here we will brief you on the safety measures required to make this session go smoothly and all the basic techniques you need to get going and let the fun begin.

We will take off when you are ready and pass through a combination of some of our more thrilling classic rapids, namely Tombstones, Ski Jump, and Factory Falls, which are just as exciting as their names suggest, if not more. For even more fun, engage with friends and family in seal launching, belly kayaking and surfing waves.

We provide all the equipment and adventure; we have only a few requirements for you, our customers. All participants must be over seven years old, at the booking must involve at least two people, and before the session, we ask that you bring a durable pair of shoes, swimwear to wear underneath the wetsuit and a towel.

Our base at Mile End Mill is beside the river, full of rushing rapids, so we do our best to maximise the time spent on the water. Our instructors will begin the day by providing all the equipment, including helmet, paddle, wetsuit and, of course a life jacket, to ensure safety. That is only some of what we do regarding your protection; we will provide a safety briefing so you know how to stay safe during this fun day of kayaking before our guides introduce some techniques and take you on an adventure.

Before any exhilarating rapids and progress of kayaking skills, we ask that you bring a sturdy pair of shoes, some swimwear to wear underneath your wetsuit and a towel for afterwards.
