Don't worry if you are a beginner and don't have any experience with this exciting water-based activity; you are perfect for this adventure. This trip will take you six hours of discovery as you enter the canal at Horseshoe falls and venture through the Chirk Tunnels and over the historic Pontcysyllte Aqueduct.
This is a UNESCO world heritage site which you can see from the water below and pass through the water that travels along it. This activity features so many diverse views and angles of this historical sight and the whole canal itself. So don't blink and take in as much as you can because you will want to remember these examples of natural and manufactured beauties for a long time.
To guide you on this expedition, we have experienced instructors who will fully brief you on safety and the necessary techniques to manoeuvre the kayak throughout the day successfully. They will also answer any question or concern as they lead you around all the beautiful sights, providing some insight into the locations to make this journey more worthwhile.
The only equipment we ask you to bring is a pair of shoes, a towel and swimwear, but everything else, including the kayak, wetsuit, life jacket and helmet, will be provided. You should also bring a packed lunch as this is a six-hour-long activity, and we will find a picturesque location to enjoy this lunch and refuel for more kayaking fun.
Also, note that a minimum of four people are required to create a booking.
