Are you interested in the life of the stables?

Come to our riding centre for a complete immersion in the world of horses. Our fully equipped centre is set in the rolling countryside of North Wiltshire, the perfect landscape to take your mind off everything and enjoy spending time with horses.

This is a two-hour session that includes an introduction to the riding centre, a 45-minute flat riding lesson, a feedback session, and 45 minutes in the stables learning about the behind-the-scenes equestrian experience.

You can choose from a number of activities to participate in during the final part of the session. The options are horse handling, tacking up, rugging, grooming, and - the horses’ favourite - feeding.

This experience is suitable for absolute beginners and those wanting to increase their knowledge of horses and riding. It’s designed for small groups. Children and adults are welcome - this is the price for adults over 16. The maximum weight is 82 kilograms (13 stone).

You will need a riding hat, body protector and boots. We have full sets of equipment which you can rent for a small fee if you don’t have everything.

Forget ordinary riding lessons or pony rides, we’ve put together a programme of equestrian activities to deepen your connection with horses and your knowledge of the equestrian lifestyle.

We’ll start with an introduction to our riding centre in North Wiltshire, then have a 45-minute riding lesson with a qualified instructor. Then it’s time for a rest, before preparing the horse for a lunge session and having a go at training and exercising the horse in this way. Experienced riders also have the option to go hacking around our site.

In total, the experience is three hours long. You’ll enjoy a complimentary hot or cold drink in the break to keep your strength up during this involved morning or afternoon.

Adults and children, with or without prior knowledge of horse riding and stable management, will find it a very rewarding experience. This price is for adults over sixteen. You need a body protector and riding hat and boots. If you don’t have your own, you can rent them from us at a small additional price. We have a maximum weight limit of 82 kilograms (13 stone) in place.
