You don’t need to be a film star or a champion show jumper to enjoy riding across a beautiful landscape.

You just need to visit us. We offer guided horse riding in Ashdown Forest to riders of low or intermediate level, allowing horse-lovers of all kinds to experience the joys of cross country riding.

We have been riding in this beautiful area of East Sussex for over 25 years, so we - and our horses - know the area very well. We have a number of itineraries to suit riders who aren’t ready for energetic hacking just yet.

At present, our requirements to ride with us are minimum age of 8 years old and maximum weight of 16 stone. We will need to know the details of all participants in advance in order to choose the right horse for each rider.

We’ll take you on a route that lasts around 1.5 hours. The experience also includes a briefing and all the equipment. The guide can adapt the pace to you and the group of up to 4 people.
