Give your child a fun, confidence-building start in the saddle at our countryside yard in Aldridge, just a short hop from Birmingham and Sutton Coldfield.

Lessons are led by our British Horse Society qualified coaching team at a BHS & ABRS approved riding school and Horse & Pony Club Centre, with the horse and rider carefully matched for a calm & positive first experience.

This 30 minute beginner session focuses on the basics of horsemanship:

Safety around ponies.
Mounting.
Balance and steering.

And all with friendly, age appropriate coaching. It’s a brilliant taster; as children progress, our standard pathway moves from 45-minute beginner classes to 1-hour lessons (with instructor approval). Ages 6+.

Choose our approved by BHS & ABRS Centre with proper facilities and well schooled ponies.

What to wear: Long trousers, t-shirt or sweatshirt (weather-appropriate), boots or shoes with a sturdy ~1-inch heel.
