You can be part of our trekking sessions to explore the best areas of Ireland. We operate at Rusheen. However, we have access to multiple acres to explore the green mountains, pastures and wildlife, including the remains of a Bronze Age settlement, Celtic ring forts, Iron Age Hill Fort, and other historical places.
Don't worry if you are a complete beginner. An experienced guide will supervise and accompany the session. We will suit the lesson to your ability level and needs. We open the lesson with a rider assessment in our sand arena. We will cover techniques for stopping, turning and starting. Please allow one hour to enjoy the session without a hurry!

You don't need to be an advanced rider. However, this trekking session is suitable for adults with a good fitness level. You must know how to ride independently. Don't worry if you need some guidance. A professional rider will supervise the entire session, opening it with a riding ability assessment in our sand arena. We will warm up with some techniques, including trotting, cantering and jumping.
