A lead rein lesson is the right choice. You will be introduced to a horse with a calm temperament and learn how to mount it. Then, you will experience riding as the horse is led by the reins around the arena.
This kind of experience is especially designed for young children, from just 2 years old, and nervous adult beginners. The ride is smooth and it’s a chance to bond with a horse in a controlled environment.
Holding the reins will be an instructor with British Horse Society approval. They will make sure that you’re comfortable from beginning to end of the 15-minute session.
We’ll send you a registration form to complete before the day of the experience. It’s important as it allows us to tailor the session to you and choose a horse or pony that suits your height and weight. Please wear appropriate footwear with a half-inch heel and clothing that covers the arms and legs.
