For all those who dream of riding off into the sunset…

This is a horse riding taster for newcomers, but it’s not exclusively for absolute beginners. It can also be an introduction to our riding centre, to get to know the staff and horses and understand more about how we do things.

It’s 15 minutes long and can take place either inside or outside. At our riding centre in Lincolnshire, in Heighington not far from the county town, we have covered and open-air arenas. The lesson will be led by a certified riding instructor.

In order to know a bit more about you, and choose a horse or pony to suit your height, weight and ability, we will send you a form to complete before the experience.

We will also need you to wear a boot or shoe with a half-inch heel in addition to long sleeves and trousers. If you don’t have your own riding hat, there’s a small fee to use one of ours.
