The joy of horse riding is for everyone.

Young children and cautious adults can have their first experience on horseback with a lead rein ride. This means that the rider sits on horseback while an instructor leads it by the reins.

Given our stunning location, we want to share this experience with you. You’ll find us on the Isle of Anglesey, a jewel in the Irish Ocean. We ride along the Menai Straits, the channel between the island and the mainland.

For a first experience, 30 minutes is about right. You’ll have a chance to meet the horse and ask questions before mounting and starting the rife. We can take children from just 4 years old for a lead rein ride.

We will need to know the weight, height and age of participants in advance. This ensures we choose the best horse for each rider. We can supply riding hats and ask that you wear clothes with long sleeves and long trousers.
