Our activity is much more than a simple horseback riding route. We always start by entering the herd of our rescued horses, which live in semi-freedom, where we choose the perfect riding companion for each participant, always adapting to your level.
Afterwards, we brush and prepare the horses for riding, establishing a prior bond essential for an authentic connection with your horse. Horses are very sensitive animals, and this union from the first moment is key to enjoying the route together as a pair.
Once on the horse, you will receive a brief explanation of how to communicate with your companion, to have autonomy during the 1-hour ride through this magnificent environment that surrounds us. The entire route will be at a pace, as it is intended for beginners. You will be able to enjoy a friendly way of riding a horse: bitless and barefoot, without irons on the feet or in the mouth.
You will be accompanied at all times by a professional instructor/guide who will help and supervise you, as well as take you along the best trails in the Garrotxa Natural Park. The guide will be able to teach the activity in both Spanish and Catalan.
To conclude the activity in the best way, after 2.5 kilometers of the route and once we arrive at the center, we will thank our equine companion and you will be able to brush him again one more time before leaving him in his field.
*We recommend that you come with covered sports shoes.
**The use of a helmet is mandatory. We have the center's own helmet for use during the activity, but it is recommended that everyone takes their own personal helmet (it can be a bike helmet).
