If you're a first-time rider, nervous around horses or a family with young children, we have just the thing for you. It’s an equestrian experience made up of a grooming session (for you and the horse to get to know each other) and a ride.
We have horses for adults (not exceeding 16 stone) and charming ponies for children, including the under 5-year-olds. We will provide riding hats and gentle tuition from experienced instructors.
And all of this surrounded by the rugged beauty of the Isle of Lewis. We’ll spend about 20 minutes at our riding centre, above the Traigh Mhòr beach, then for a 40-minute ride in the area of North Tolsta, 1 hour in total.
This is a fantastic introduction to the equestrian lifestyle and a memorable experience for all. We recommend it to families and can take group numbers of up to 10.
