It is a fairly tough route, considering that it lasts from7 to 8 hours of walking, so it is only recommended for trained people who are at least 14 years old.
The itinerary plans to reach the top via the new cable car and paths that will allow you to arrive within a couple of hours. From the highest point you will have a breathtaking view of the Gran Zebrù, the entire Adamello and the Brenta.
Once you have admired the landscape and the horizon, the descent of about an hour begins. It will be carried out using ropes and crampons, depending on the weather conditions.
At this point a new climb begins towards the Vioz China, on this stretch you will have to climb the rocks and cross a part of the glacier, all in total safety and with all the necessary harnesses.
You will pass through Linke, where there are still some bivouacs dating back to the First World War. From the hill it takes about an hour and a half to reach the top.
A well-deserved break will be taken in the Mantova refuge, where you can eat and rest, and then set off again along the path which, from Doss dei Cembri, leads to the Cembri refuge where via the chairlift you will return to the valley.
