The meeting point will be in the small town of Fornovolasco, where you can meet our environmental hiking guide who is an expert in the area. We will begin to climb in altitude along a circular route, following the so-called "Via del Sale" and reaching the Foce di Petrosciana.
With this 6-hour excursion you will have the opportunity to discover corners of paradise in Tuscany, such as the village of Fornovolasco, the Pania della Croce, the strong>Mount Procinto and the wonderful Mount Forato. From the top, at 1,223 m, you can admire a breathtaking panorama, even seeing the Tuscan sea on the horizon. We will then return to the valley, enjoying the view.
The route has a difference in altitude of 700 metres. We recommend sports clothing, shoes suitable for trekking and bringing a packed lunch with you.
