Pian del Nel is an area where the renowned Guglielmo Jervis Refuge is located, at the foot of the Levanne.

The painoro is a good starting point for various trekking paths, such as those heading towards Colle di Nel, located at almost 3000 meters above sea level (2500 to be exact).
You can therefore choose to undertake such a difficult and demanding path or opt for simpler walks through the woods and mountain pastures of this alpine area.
