You may already know the most typical places in Mallorca, but if you want to know every corner of the island like a true Manacor native, you have to take a guided tour of trekking through the Alcúdia watchtower.
This excursion starts from the Sanctuary of Victory, we will visit communal lands that were once used by the residents of Alcúdia to obtain firewood, plant and as a hunting ground. This is one of the main natural areas of Mallorca, characterized by its immense pine forests and its slopes covered with vegetation.
We will be able to enjoy excellent views of both land and sea, and we will even be able to see the island of Menorca! L’Atalaia d’Alcúdia (16th century) was part of the set of towers and watchtowers arranged at strategic points on the coast to monitor the coast and transmit danger warnings. The maximum altitude point of this watchtower is 624m.
This route has an easy difficulty, which makes it perfect for spending a day surrounded by your family or friends while doing moderate physical exercise. We will cover a distance of about 9 and a half kilometers, so although it is easy, we do not recommend taking this trekking route with children under 10 years old.
Remember to put on appropriate clothing and footwear for the activity. Groups can be of a maximum of 4 people, since small groups are the only way to offer personalized treatment and attention.
