Theoretical class of one afternoon and 2 days of mountain course.

If you are interested in training in mountaineering, we bring you the ideal introductory course for you. You will carry out the practical part in the heart of the Sierra de Guadarrama.
This course begins with an afternoon of theory, in which we will teach you the fundamental concepts that you should know before entering the mountain.
Once the theory part is clear, we can move on to practice, which will take place over 2 days.
Between theory and practice we will ensure that you learn the techniques to progress in the mountains, always with the greatest safety. We will also teach you how to use crampons and ice axes, and you will even learn how to react if you are surprised by an avalanche.
Once you have completed the course, you will be able to go on easy and moderate level mountaineering outings.
These are the contents that we will work on to achieve the objectives:
- Use all materials correctly.
- Interpretation of the state of the snow.
- Techniques to stop yourself, from the most basic to others of greater complexity.
- How to progress using rope in a group.
- Using the ARVA to rescue people trapped in an avalanche.
In addition to the mountain clothing, backpack, sun protection, and other items you need, you must bring the technical equipment, although if you don't have it, we could rent it to you.
*To take the course you cannot have any injury or ailment that makes the practice of mountaineering incompatible.
**Minimum group training is required to take the course. Otherwise, we would postpone the activity.
