We propose a complete weekend to explore and visit in depth the Aigües Tortes natural park in the province of LLeida.
After eating on Friday afternoon we get into our van and head towards the natural park of Catalonia, we arrive to have dinner and rest because a great day awaits us the next day, on Saturday we go first to the Gerber Valley and we arrive at the Mataró refuge, where a spectacular glacial cirque awaits us bordered by very high mountains that reach 3000 meters.
The penultimate day we enter the most magical place in the Catalan Pyrenees, it seems like something out of a fairy tale, Lake San Mauricio and Els Encantats, whose identical peaks form the most famous image of the park.
The next day, before saying goodbye to the land of lakes, we will go hiking along a path to the hermitage of San Roc, from which we can see a perfect image of the Pleta d'Esterri and the lower part of the valley.
We will take advantage of our trip to immerse ourselves in the culture of Pallars where we will be traveling these days.
