Your appointment will begin in thetown of Ye. From this point and after knowing the itinerary of the route that we will follow, we will begin to gain altitude reaching its crater. This height will allow us to admire the vines that make up an agricultural landscape next to the lava flows, known as malpaises, that sink into the Atlantic. After witnessing such a natural spectacle, we will surround its eastern part to observe its volcanic tube almost 8km long!
Continuing with the pattern of our tour, La Corona is aligned with other volcanoes that are La Cerca, Los Helechos and La Quemada de Gallo, thus forming the Famara Massif which has heights of more than 560 meters and, therefore, offers spectacular views.
If you thought that nothing else could amaze you... You're wrong! Because we will enter the central part of the Famara cliff. A rock wall that reaches more than 500 meters high and that allows us to admire Las Peñas del Chache and the Chinijo Archipelago together with the Graciosa Island .
And as a final touch we will enter a ravine, but it is not just any ravine as it flows into the fertile valleys of Haria and Máguez where the palm grove resides where there are more than 1000 palm trees in addition to fruit trees.
During the entire walk you will be accompanied by a specialized guide who will discuss all the peculiarities of the area, and as if that were not enough company, due to the altitude and the influence of the trade winds, you will be able to admire a great quantity of birds and lush vegetation.
* We do the route from November to April once a week, on Thursdays. For this reason, we recommend that you check availability before making your reservation.
