In the province of Guadalajara you can enjoy a hiking route through the Tejera Negra beech forest, one of the southernmost on the entire continent.

It is located in the heart of the Sierra Norte de Guadalajara Natural Park. In addition to beeches, we will also see pines, oaks, hollies, yews, etc.

We will leave from Madrid at 8:00. In Cantalojas we will enter the Hayedo de Tejera Negra parking lot.

The route is divided into two parts:

Cart Trail.
Oak Grove Path.

Upon our return, we can access the interpretation center of the natural park. And, if you want to continue discovering this beautiful area, we can visit the towns of Black Architecture.

In total we will go up and down 550 meters and cover 12 kilometers of trail.
