The duration of the ascent is a whole day but the day before we will make the approach route to the "Laguna Grande de Gredos" refuge

If you are a mountain lover and you dare to climb Pico Almanzor, during the first day we will walk along the path that separates the Plataforma de Gredos parking lot and the Laguna Grande refuge during which we will visualize the route What we will do the next day. The duration of this walk is 2:30 h. If you need it, you can check the rates for spending the night at the Laguna Grande de Gredos refuge.

The next day at 7 in the morning, after having breakfast, we will begin to ascend from the Laguna Grande refuge to the Almanzor peak. We will do it through one of the ports, Bermeja or Crampón until we reach the area of Canales Oscuras After this we will begin the most technical area of the route. The guide will accompany you at all times. And once we reach the top of the peak, at 2592 meters of altitude we will return along the same ascent path.

We recommend being well trained in mountain hiking to be able to finish the route. Groups will have a maximum of 3 people to guarantee personalized attention.
