Deal overview
We will pick you up in Bilbao or wherever you are (check pickup locations) and we will take you to Markina-Xemein to begin our tour. The first stop will be the old town of this town, once we all meet, during an hour and a half walk we will make a mini pilgrimage until we reach Bolibar. Once there we will visit the museum, famous for collecting the life of Simón Bolibar.
After visiting the museum we will make a short climb to reach the Monastery of Zenarruza, a perfect and silent place inhabited by some Cistercian monks, who today still welcome pilgrims who go to Santiago. Once we finish this visit, we will stop to eat at a typical inn where we will taste the typical food of the region. On weekends food is NOT included.
After charging the batteries, we will go to Gernika in the hired transport. There we will contemplate a historic city for many reasons, we will visit different places such as the Casa de Juntas or the Gernika Tree. Don't hesitate and come with us to spend a day of countryside, culture and history.
