Basque Country coastal towns route

If you want to discover the coastal towns of the Basque Country we propose an undeniable route that includes nature, sea, mountains and food. A unique experience that will begin in the surfing town of Mundaka, then we will enjoy the cultural environment of Urdaibai, passing through Elantxobe to finish in Lekeitio.

First of all, we will pick you up with our guide at the meeting point we set (check where) to move to Mundaka, a Biscayan town famous for its waves where surfers from all over the world enjoy this sport. We will also visit its old town and the Hermitage of Santa Catalina.

Once there we will discover the Urdaibai biosphere reserve and we will walk for about forty-five minutes through the mountains to reach a fishing town called Elantxobe. We will also go up to a viewpoint to contemplate the cliffs and beaches. We will go down its narrow streets to reach the port and see the giant breakwater up close.

To finish the route we will arrive at Lekeitio, where we will eat typical dishes of Basque gastronomy. After eating we will visit the historic center.
