Get to know one of the most beautiful and popular workshops in San Luis Potosí, exactly in the town of Santa María del Río. This tour lasts 4 hours where you can learn about the making of silk shawls or also called bolita shawls.

We will leave the city driving south, until we reach the town. Once in the town, we will visit the factory or workshop where they make the shawls. This garment has achieved international recognition for its tradition, elaboration and colors. You will be able to observe the way in which they make it, the threads to use, the looms and they will explain to you how their beginnings and ancestral techniques were.

Upon leaving we will go to the majestic Church of the Assumption and we will taste traditional bread from the regional bakery. In this option we include round transportation leaving from the city and once the tour is finished we will return you to your hotel or home.
