The construction that you will see was planned by the Englishman Edward James in order to protect the garden's vegetation since, thanks to a frost, the dozens of orchids that were grown there were lost. Therefore, he decided to build elements to care for him, influenced by his surrealist style. You won't be able to miss the famous "Stairway to Heaven" and listen carefully to its meaning. This also called "lost city", is located in the middle of the forest and therefore, you can admire caves and rivers surrounding it.
At the end of this first visit, we will go to "The basement of the Huahuas" practicing a little hiking, walking along the paths through the vegetation of the region. In addition, this area of the Huasteca Potosina is visited by hundreds of birds that you will not be able to stop photographing, mainly the green parakeets or ethnically named "huahuas". We will reach the basement, which is a hole 478 meters deep and 60 meters in diameter. You will experience one of the most beautiful natural spectacles, observing the entry and exit of different species of birds.
