Chichén Itzá, named World Heritage by UNESCO and one of the 7 Wonders of the Modern World, was the political, religious and cultural center of the Mayans, that is why It is a place so rich in history and we will take you to know it.
The most important and well-known structure is the so-called Pyramid of Kukulcán or The Feathered Serpent, 24 meters high. The city has numerous structures, among the most notable are the observatory known as El Caracol or the Temple of the Warriors, you can also see the playing field ball court in Mesoamerica and the Sacred Cenote, a place of religious activities and where ceremonial offerings were thrown.
Afterwards we will go to cool off and swim in theCenote X’keken. Cenotes are natural pools and were used by the Mayans to perform religious rituals and they believed they were the door to the underworld. Learn the mystery of these exceptional pools.
