During the guided tour you will be able to learn about the ancient Mayan civilization that left a beautiful legacy since the years 300 BC.
- We will leave in the morning towards Cobá, for 2 hours we will visit the archaeological zones belonging to the Mayan civilization and we will climb the highest pyramid of the Yucatan peninsula.
- We will go to a Mayan village where we will meet a Mayan family, who will tell us a little about their customs and traditions that have been passed down from generation to generation. We will also have the opportunity to visit its palapa, the typical Mayan houses, the botanical garden and we will try some delicious handmade tortillas.
- We will walk through the community of Esmeralda, in this quiet town we will be able to observe the traditional agriculture that the community cultivates and during our tour we will have the opportunity to appreciate the flora and fauna that characterizes this beautiful place. The climate in the southeast of the country is characterized by being hot, so to cool off a little, you can swim in a cenote, you will not be able to resist its refreshing crystal clear water.
- We will be able to appreciate a ritual led by a Shaman, you will participate in an authentic blessing ceremony that is scented with copal incense.
- At the end we will eat with an impressive view of nature where you will try traditional dishes accompanied by delicious handmade tortillas.
