Cocoa tour with organic food in Cobá Children

A cultural tour does not have to be boring or tedious, this one that we propose will become one of your children's favorites. Take advantage of this special price for children and come see the Cacao and Honey Sanctuary in Cobá, very close to the archaeological site. You will be able to swim in 2 beautiful cenotes, make your own chocolate and meet the Melipona bee, in addition to enjoying a delicious gourmet meal.

Upon arriving at our facilities, your little ones will meet a Mayan shaman, they will surely be very curious when they see him. This character will be the one who shows us a traditional Mayan ritual to give thanks for the journey we will take. Our first activity will be to listen to the history and collection of the cocoa seed, until transforming it into various products such as chocolate, your little ones will be able to make their own.

Then we will go to the conservation area of the melipona bee, which you will notice does not have a sting. Here we will listen to another talk about the importance of caring for this species and its connection with honey production. Here the children will be part of another workshop in which we will teach them how to make their own soap from this sweet ingredient.

We will continue walking through the sanctuary in Cobá, to go to the restaurant and taste a vegan meal or organic food where both chocolate and honey will be part of its preparation. They will lick their fingers!

We will end this Mayan day, visiting a couple of cenotes in which we will put on life jackets to be able to swim among their sacred waters.
