The Magic Town of Zacatlán de las Manzanas receives its name because it is one of the main apple producing centers in the country. In this guided tour we invite you to discover and learn everything about the planting and cultivation of this emblematic fruit of the region.
Our adventure begins with a delicious country breakfast where you can enjoy the natural landscapes of the place while you learn how the region's apple, also known as blueberry, is planted and grown. At the end of the talk you will be able to taste some delicious apples. Then we will move to the historic center of Zacatlán to see the most beautiful places of this Magical Town:
- Municipal Palace built in 1896.
- The famous Alberto Olvera Hernández Clock Museum where the first monumental clock in Zacatlán was built.
- Paseo de la Barranca Museum with its 100 meters in length and its thousands of glass pieces.
- Floral clock, one of the most visited places in the town.
- Old Franciscan Convent and the Parish of Saint Paul and Saint Peter.
And since we know that it is also important to know the traditions of each place, we will visit the Traditional Bakery of the town so you can try the delicious freshly made bread. And to finish our tour on a high note, you can taste wines, liqueurs and ciders from the region at the Wine Museum.
