Thanks to our guided tour through the streets of the city you will be able to travel back to 1931, when this stage began.

Our guided tour has a total duration of 2 hours and 30 minutes and as we are attentive to all the details we will bring photographic material to accompany the theoretical explanations of our Heritage expert guide. The meeting point will be Plaza Oriente, from there we will visit places that were emblematic in this stage of Spanish history: Royal Palace, Calle Mayor, Calle Bailén, Calle de las Aguas, Calle del Ángel... . until finally reaching thePlaza Mayor.

With this special route you will be able to learn about many stories that happened in Madrid from 1931 to 1933. It was a short period but with great intensity and political changes, there were several scenes of protests by the people towards the government and more revolutions in different areas.

We will also talk about the most emblematic characters of this time, such as Manuel Azaña. We will also deal with topics that are on the agenda such as the change of names of republican streets, or the Catalan independence movement that also had its peak in the Second Republic.
