El Tuito is a Nahuatl name that means "beautiful little valley," and it really is. Our adventure begins by touring the mountains of the Sierra Madre in one of our 4x4 trucks until we reach El Tuito. During our tour, you will be able to visit beautiful gardens, a traditional bakery to try artisan breads baked in a wood-fired oven; and an organic farm to enjoy a delicious lunch outdoors and on the banks of the river. Lunch includes a delicious barbecue and drinks.
We will also visit the central square, its church, a tortilleria and a house known for producing the famous panela cheese of the area, here you can taste this delicious cheese and observe how it is produced. Another attraction of the place are the pre-Hispanic petroglyphs that are more than 1,200 years old.
Finally, we will visit a small family tequila distillery, you will be able to learn how it is prepared and try several types of tequila, a typical Mexican drink that is produced in this state.
On this visit you will also be able to appreciate part of the flora and nature of this region of the country, you will be able to see fig orchards, different styles of cacti, beautiful orchids and you will be able to taste the captivating flavor of chocolate. /strong>that is prepared here.
