Deal overview
Get a glimpse of Queen Victoria's life by visiting one of her favourite homes on the Isle of Wight, Osborne House.
This stunning residence is set up in a breathtaking spot with colourful gardens, a picturesque Swiss Cottage and a beach with golden sands. It was the perfect place for her to escape the court life stress and enjoy the simplicity of life for a moment. Isn't this something we all want? Exploring this majestic house with a unique Italian style will give you a refreshing and relaxing experience you won't be able to forget.
Osborne House was built around 1845 and 1951 after Queen Victoria fell in love with the views of the Solent when she first visited the area as a young girl. Prince Albert was also so astonished by its magical environment that he got involved in designing the house himself. Your entry ticket allows you to discover their furniture and art collection and Queen Victoria's bathing machine on the beach. The house also has on display many fascinating objects from the Royal Collection Trust in the Swiss Cottage Museum.
The house was first opened to the public in 1954, under Queen Elizabeth II's permission. The first floor of the residence was the first part of the house to be exhibited, adding more areas to the public through time. It's listed on the National Heritage List for England, meaning you'll explore one of the most important British treasures.
Your tour will be approximately 4.5 hours long, but it will be a lifetime memory. We have wheelchair access to welcome everyone!
Visiting Osborne House is the perfect plan for a family day out!
