Guinness Storehouse Visit in St. James Gate 1.5h
General information
Deal overview
A tour through its walls and floors is a vivid adventure you must experience to get to know Irish culture and identity uniquely. Its story dates back to 1902, when it was built as a fermentation plant for the Brewery. It was not until 1997 that the building was opened to the public as the Storehouse we know today.
Your entry ticket allows you to explore the building from bottom to top for 1.5 hours. You can either come with your friends to enjoy a delicious pint or have a family day, as the Storehouse is child-friendly. You can also find audio guides in multiple languages available for an additional fee onsite.
There are different exhibitions, shows, and other recreational areas to enjoy during your visit. The ground floor, for example, allows you to learn the history of this iconic beer, teaching you about its ingredients and even enabling you to taste its unique flavours and aromas. You can also explore other sides of the building, such as shops, exhibitions, and bars to taste a pint with a delicious dish from the Irish Cuisine. The Cherry on top of your tour will be a visit to the Gravity Bar to enjoy a unique perspective of Dublin.
Culture and history unfold in this legendary building. You can also experience a visit to the Atrium Base to learn about the Storehouse's history. The Guinness Archive wraps information about the Brewery, the brand, and an insightful reflection of society over the centuries, as you'll find artefacts and relevant documentation from 1759 to this day.
