4-day visit to the Lacandon Jungle with kayak

First day with us, we leave from San Cristóbal de las Casas to see one of the largest waterfalls called El Chiflón, there you will see its fall of 70 meters. strong>Then you can see the Montebello lakes. Afterwards we will take you to the tourist center of Lacandona, here we sleep next to the Lacantum River in our camp. You will have a lunch and food during this day.

During the second day after breakfast we will move to the place where we give you the kayaks. We paddle for 4 hours until we feel part of the jungle and reach the most enigmatic place in the world. strong>Mayan archeology.
We stopped kayaking in the Chajul ejido, a van picked us up and after two hours we went to sleep in the Lacanjá community. You will have breakfast, lunch and dinner.

On the third day we left very early to visit the community of Frontera Corozal, a motorcycle boat takes us along the mighty river in the area, the Usumacinta. This route allows us to reach Yaxchilán, the archaeological zone. Upon returning to the camp we take a walk on a trail to get to know the jungle and thus end our day resting in the camp.

The last day we visited Bonampak, you will learn about all the classic Mayan art. We take you to Palenque so that you can finish getting to know the pre-Hispanic culture. We give you a breakfast to say goodbye and those who want can have the transfer back to San Cristóbal de las Casas.
